THE TEAM MEMBERS
Scott Lincicome
Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Scott Lincicome graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Aviation Management. After graduating from Auburn, Scott moved to Aspen, Colorado where he managed the country’s largest snowboard shop. After 5 years in Aspen, Scott moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he started a career in professional golf. Scott turned professional in the winter of 1998 and played on the Hooters Tour, Tear Drop Tour, and a number of other mini-tours in the southern part of the U.S. Scott moved back to the Carolinas in the summer of 1999. The Lincicome family has been in the Pinehurst Area since the 1950s and it has always been a very special place. After golf, Scott was involved in the Carolinas PGA program and worked in the golf business for a couple of years and volunteered with many worthy organizations in the area. These include the First Tee which helps introduce golf to youth of Moore County, The Haven, which is one of North Carolina’s largest no-kill animal shelter, as well as the Sandhills Children Center which helps special needs children from ages newborn to age 6. His deep love of golf has given Scott in-depth knowledge of every golf course in Moore County as well as an understanding of the various club memberships. Scott Lincicome has finally found a career that he is very passionate about and one that makes him happy -- Real Estate.
Beth St. John
Beth St. John was born in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Walt Whitman High School in 1977 and Rollins College in 1981. At Rollins, located in Winter Park, Florida, she majored in Business and French. She worked extensively in computer sales and then in Institutional Advancement at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. At Nova Southeastern she planned and executed fundraising events for the various schools within the university. Beth and her husband, Jay, and daughter, Kate moved to Southern Pines in 1999. They enjoy the beautiful surroundings and perfect climate which is conducive to their love of the outdoors. She is knowledgeable about the Sandhills area through retail sales work and volunteerism in the community. Her family attends Emmanuel Episcopal Church where they are very active. Beth is very excited to join the Scott Lincicome Team and looks forward to serving clients throughout Southern Pines and Pinehurst.
Julia Kober
Julia came to the United States in 1988 from her native England and for the past 15 years has lived in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area. The natural beauty, temperate climate, and excellent schools were among the reasons she chose to raise her two sons here. Julia is a Buyer’s agent whose broad experiences in the community uniquely qualify her to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. Through her participation with cancer organizations, community projects and PTA she brings a love of the area and knowledge of the community to the Scott Lincicome Home Team. Julia enjoys an equestrian background and a love for an active life including skiing and golf. Her past work in the cancer department of Moore Regional Hospital has given her a vast knowledge of the medical community. All this created a stimulating environment in which to raise her children. She is an exceptional resource to anyone considering relocation to the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area.
